John D. Bosco

John Bosco is a partner in the Dallas, Texas office of León Cosgrove, LLC who focuses his practice on the defense and trial of complex labor & employment and accessibility matters in state and federal courts across the country.

Mr. Bosco represents international, national and regional clients in the full spectrum of labor & employment-related matters, including: wage & hour claims; EEOC, DOJ, and other agency charges; lawsuits involving all forms of discrimination; whistleblower and wrongful termination claims; as well as DOL and OSHA investigations. Mr. Bosco has successfully represented employers in class and collective actions, arbitrations, mediations and single-plaintiff disputes in venues across the country. He also assists clients with management-union relations, collective bargaining and litigation before the NLRB, and related labor matters. His experience includes drafting and negotiating employment agreements, drafting company manuals and policies, advising on litigation avoidance programs and training executives and employees nationwide.

Mr. Bosco has extensive experience prosecuting and defending covenants not to compete and unfair competition claims. He has obtained injunctions to prevent breach of noncompete agreements, employee raiding, unfair competition and the use or disclosure of trade secrets. He counsels management on how to keep and retain key employees, including by the use and structuring of enforceable restrictive covenants. He also has extensive experience providing strategic advice and counsel to clients hiring key employees from competitors, including defending such clients against unfair competition claims.

For almost 10 years, Mr. Bosco has represented clients in federal and state accessibility matters. He has advised on ADA Title II and Title III, Rehabilitation Act and state accessibility laws; prevailed in defending numerous accessibility cases; provided compliance counseling and negotiated favorable settlements in accessibility matters involving healthcare providers, financial institutions, retailers, hospitality clients, and other owners, partners, operators, lessors and lessees of public accommodations. His experience encompasses physical, digital and service-related accessibility matters. He has co-authored Public Accommodations Under the Americans With Disabilities Act, Compliance and Litigation Manual, published by Thomson West.

Mr. Bosco is a member of the Labor & Employment Section of the American Bar Association. Prior to joining León Cosgrove, he practiced at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and Jones Day. He also worked as Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase.
